Tompkinsville is really close to the TN/KY border in Monroe County. Bardstown is between Elizabethtown & Lexington/Louisville in the mid/northern part of the State. There is someone at Bardstown or Elizabethtown who has a listing of the Confederate dead buried there. I don't think they do lookups though. I'll have to find my information on who exactly has this listing (I've forgotten now, but saw it in a tourism brochure and the bldg/office was closed when we were there in the winter).

I can check our local libraries concerning records in the Monroe County area. I don't recall ever doing research there, so don't know exactly what is available.

I'll copy his name down though and see if I can find anything on his burial.
