1) Probably but not confirmed yet but connection would have been in UK as my Jackson ancestors were here before his.
You are pbly aware that Pres Andy Jackson and Stonewall were distant cousins...in 1926 my grandfather Jackson told my mother that his family was related to Old Hickory.

2) Yes through lineage of Dr John Woodson who came to Jamestowne abt 1619..(this also makes me related to Frank & Jesse James)

BTW Old Henry Clay`s father, John Clay, was a brother of my 4th g grandfather Dr Henry Clay III....and...it is said when someone asked Pres Jackson what he regretted not accomplishing...he responded "Not shooting that damned Henry Clay" LOL.
