That question is probably better directed to me. I have been thinking for quite some time of a Civil War Irregulars, Partisans message board. My concern is the "passion" and the type of people, not including you, who are generally drawn toward discussions of Bloody Bill Anderson, Quantrill, the Kansas "Redlegs" and others. Right now, if you visit the Missouri in the CW Message Board you'll note that two groups who study Bloody Bill Anderson, and especially a discussion of whether or not he survived the Civil War has dominated the discussions for the last couple of months.

I guess my biggest worry about starting such a site is the amount of time it will take for our existing moderators, including myself, to keep the site under control.

The next two sites, I hope to open, will be for the Campaigns of Gettysburg and Vicksburg. Maybe I can get something done with the "Partisan" site soon after.
