David, I remember that you are related to Alvin York someway. Been doing some research on partisans in East-TN...as usual...lol.... I know that Alvin's 2x Grandfather was Uriah York and that he served with the 1 TN Infantry U.S.A. What I've been working on is Tinker Dave Beatty's Sout and Guides, who were also from the Fentress County area. They had two York members....George and Mitchell...are they brothers or cousins of Uriah? I was going to post this on the TN board but I remember that you were related to that family.
