Better yet, T.R., should the government pay reparations to Blacks who may have been slaves at one time, but in later life became freedmen who subsequently owned Black slaves themselves, and if that same Black slaveholder had Black children by one of his Black famale slaves, etc., etc. Surely, however, the aggregate wisdom in WDC can sort that one out in an equitable manner.
