Come on Bob. Who has it been taken over by? You can tell me. I'm 50+ too, I can handle it. ;-) I gotta tell ya I've been to The Mississippi River but I've never been across it. Hell, I wanted to take my wife on one of those (won't mention the name) all inclusive vacations in Jamaica for her 50th birthday. She said she would rather stay closer to home and visit some battlefileds and cemeteries that we haven't been to and go back smallmouth bass fishing near Natural Bridge, VIRGINIA. NOW....is that a dream woman OR what? Seriously though, that whole vaccination thing came back to me in a rush. My family went to my elementary school, just blocks from home for the sugar cubes. I don't remember shots other than at the doctor's office. I had one family doctor whose office was attached to his house. Went to school with his daughter. We are the "blessed" generation in that we have experienced the simple pleasures of the 50's, 60's and early 70's and we have been fortunate enough to enjoy AND understand the technology of the 21st century. (okay, some of us understand it, some of us struggle) Excuse me now as I'm busy trying to untangle some 8-tracks for my grand-daughter. My daughter wants to put them on E-bay. I want to pass them on. hehehehe. Anyone have any of those plastic inserts for 45rpm records? We are the ones that will pass on history to our children and grand-children first hand. Read to them and take them to places that they will only appreciate later in life. My parents did and it worked. Thanks Jim for not "busting" us on off topic exchanges.
