History is a great and fun subject to study. We have been discussing the dragonian actions of the Despot's army here in Maryland during the War of Northern Aggression. One such state legislator that was imprisioned was Henry Mactier Warfield. After gaining his release from I believe Ft. McHenry, he became a private in Company F, 11th TN Inf, CSA. Little is known about his post war life, however, his granddaughter changed the world forever; For it was Elizabeth (Bessie) Wallis Warfield Simpson, who made King Edward VIII of England to abocate his throne. THAT will teach the Brits not to recognize the CSA!
