Mike, I'm with you on those thoughts about our country. My father was a statistician in the Forward Echelon, Army Air Corps (I don't think there was an "Air Force" back then). I have his diary and some really great photos and physical souveniers. He was one of the first of the US troops on mainland Japan after the two bombs. It's amazing to read his own thoughts and look at the maps that he scribbled on while island hopping in the Pacific. He put himself through college on the GI Bill and got his degree while working a full time job and raising my older brother and taking care of my Mother in North Carolina. A 33rd Degree Scottish Right Freemason, he is my hero. And I'm trying my best to look good in his eyes. I wonder what he would say about our country today?
