Frank, I can follow the logic of States Rights...not that I agree with the extreme states rights stance... and I can even follow Stephens logic...if negroes are inferior and the founders meant that all WHITE people are created equal, then by that logic they can have slavery (not that I agree with that myself)...but what befuddles me is when people yell about tyrants and civil liberties for all, while owning hereditary chattel slaves. Just a little bit of an oxymoron there.
