What I am referencing is the belief and political debate that ALL people were equal under the law. This did not come about until the mid-17th century in England. See the history of the political movmement called "The Levellers". Native Americans already had this idea, and did not believe that "class" restricted rights or gave priviledges over others. The debate of property rights for ALL free Englishmen, before the 17th century, were rare. Your lowest classes of colonials were most probably the largest group to leave for a better and free life with the natives.
