Thanks for the kind words about the web site, have a few hours invested there.
It never did bother me that one of my ancestors fought for the Union after serving time with the CSA.
I admire anyone that stands up for what they believe in-whether I agree with their stand or not. There is no way that I know the feelings of those ancestors at that time and I believe they were doing right, in their minds, for the good of their family and their country.
