"Because of a movie and a legend everyone believes that he is buried with his men as a sign of disrespect."
I say, no, the reason they are thought to have been buried with disrespect was because of the folks here today, and the ones back then, who say that these men were traitors and criminals. That is the issue not a movie. Just how does one bury a criminal and a traitor with respect?
It is the calling of them "traitors", not "some movie", that makes folks believe he was buried with disrepect.
PS A unique notion, this one, of calling folks "traitors" who should be shot, who were never considered citizens by the government shooting them, a charge coming from men in open armed rebellion against the government that they had particpated in as full citizens their entire lives.
