This whole thing started with the statements about the Confederate burials at the Battle of Shilo? My feelings on those mass graves has always been of sadness, mainly because a great deal of those boys were from my area of Mississippi, and that they were unknown and many graves are missing. But I never thought their remains were dishonored by the Union forces. I personally have never held any anger at all in that regard. When you don't hold the battlefield, you don't have the right to complain about how your dead are buried and accounted for, as long as inhuman acts (those acts not permitted by contemporary social rules) were not committed upon those dead.
