The night after I posted this poem, my father in law, Homer Kuhl, passed away in his sleep. He was a combat veteran of the Battle of Okinawa, his LST bringing Marines to shore, and fighting Kamikaze attacks. He has stood his watch, as have some of us on the board, in hopes our children or grandchildren won't have to. But if they do, we'll be here to support them and back them up. May this new year end on a better note than it has started, and may all of you and yours be safe. Stan
