Sounds GREAT Frank. My wife and were supposed to leave for Charleston on Sunday. But her work schedule has made us have to push it forward a week. I've got some reenactor friends here in Virginia that were born and raised there. We are really looking forward to seeing the sites. I did do some research on Fort Wagner and it appears that you would need a private boat to get there. Pretty desolate area. You can still see the outlines of the fort from Google's satellite maps. And it appears that the land has been secured by some preservation folks.
