David you are a bright light in this forum with well thought out, well reasoned responses to a complex topic. I agreed with you almost 100% and said so often. How my agreement with you is being constued by some to be opposition I cannot explain or comprehend. I would love to converse and discuss with you often but as you see I am constantly being completely misunderstood, mischaracterized and personally attacked. If this twisting of my posts isn't deliberate, then it is all the sadder.

I am not offended by this, it has gone past the point of ludicrous now. I don't ever get offended by the ridiculous, I just find it totally uninteresting and not worthy of much response. Misundertsand the post and attack the poster -- what could be more boring more worthless in a dialogue of issues?

I truly enjoyed your perceptive posts, and truly thank you for the thoughtful manner in which you rose to the occasion to throw light on a subject others only wanted to demagogue, while making deliberate falsehoods of my posts twisting them into the exact opposite of what I was saying. And I am very grateful that you could see accurately my tone and intention. I am sure I will miss knowing you better. You are clearly a first class guy.
