Using the symbols of the Southern Veterans to identify with fairness, excellence and amateur athletic competition is a tasteful and honorable use. Its one of the few fun ways of showing Southern pride and it is not political, insensitive or promoting anger. As long as the symbols are not cheapened in anyway as to dishonor the Vets. I personally do not care for morphing the flag into other designs or "artwork" as cheap roadside tourist junk.
