Thanks, that post from Stan got my interest. We'll have to do more research on it. I figured that was the Findley that your ancestor Tobias served under. It's been awhile but wasn't Tobias Woody acquainted with Governor Joe Brown? One thing I do remember when Tobias' brother died... John Woody...my 3x grandfather, both his ex wives were there. One said John was singing with the angels and the other said he was rolling in Hell. Guess you can't please everybody. But then again pleasing everybody isn't one of our family traits is it...lol.
