I was just pointing out that if you rewrite the Constitution then all bets are off as to whether there would be a United States. We have 200 plus years of laws, treaties, social programs and such that would all have to be re-enacted into the new countries laws. Even if they rewrite the Constitution wouldn't it have to been ratified by 2/3 or 37 of the state, or maybe 3/4 like the original Constitution was?
Even if those delegates were all in total agreement there would be a lot of problems for them to even write a new Constitution. I point out all the problems that the Europeans had with even trying to write one for the E.U. What was that thing took years to write, I believe is 10,000 pages or something like that, and they still haven't all signed it.
