That is probably why he is regarded as either the best or next to best President the US has ever had, except for a few unhappy folks in the south. I would guess on a percentage basis, they would be very small in number. I operate a facility at our local airport and we have people fly in from all over the planet to visit the Lincoln Tomb and his home and other things Lincoln. I am sorry to report that they never seem to ask about anything Jefferson Davis. I am not sure if they even know who Davis was.
