Nope nary a Boy in the family. My reb ancestors were infantry and cavalry and my union ancestors were all mounted infantry...my grandpa was a marine circa WW1, he was fighting Haitians though, not Germans...my dad was a marine in the South Pacific. Can't blame you for being proud of your Boy ancestor during the war. Twelve or thirteen is mighty young to be shipboared, but they were tough back then.
