I would not have associated these votes to old feelings of the Confederacy. But since its been brought up. Seventeen of these states were not Confederate states and have not risended their votes, I count ten former "Union" states on the list. I don't know why they pulled their votes, but if you look at the date, it was probably because they felt it was a waste of time.
