That is only your opinion I can offer a different opinion and some first hand examples why it is not for the best. Just from reading your posts you seem to have a pretty liberal view on everything and I even gather you don't like the South much. I guess you can make statements like the above only when you have your rose colored glasses on, or perhaps you turn your head to what is actually happening in America today. Perhaps you just do not have a clue about the daily attack on Southern Heritage, the people and all things Confederate. I can assure you the racial attitude in this country is not leveling. Have you ever heard the expression “the bottom rail is now the top rail??” It is becoming truer in today’s social climate; I know I deal with these sorts of issues on a daily basis.
