David, That was my point. I know that I went at it in a around-about way, but the South hasn't changed, they have always been Constitutionalist Conservative Americans. I was just trying to give some insight into what I believe was the demise of the Democrat party in the South. Our political systems sees to it that a true Constitutional Conservative candidate is not on the ballot anymore. So we are forced to vote for the lessor of two evils in our elections. The Same as in Russia. They had elections, but no matter who they voted for, they were still going to elect a communist. There was no choice.

When the southern States seceeded they didn't write a NEW constitution they adopted the Same Constitution and included the Bill of Rights in it that was written in 1787. It wasn't because they were lazy and too dumb to write something different, They didn't want anything different.
