Well George, all I can say is that I've been watching Fox news non-stop all day for the whole last week and every single person and every single commentator on there has been telling me we are all much better off with race relations in this country, that we have made great strides forward and that we are the envy of the world for it. I guess I can't rely on Fox anymore. I guess I had better switch to CNN or MSNBC to get the real story?

I wonder just how we made these strides the Fox folks are recognizing, must have been the water?

You sound angry, that you and your family and friends have been treated badly and unfairly, while others of another group have been given very special treatment, as you perceive it, simply because of their race. Maybe you are right to feel angry. I'd be angry too. Maybe you are feeling all men are created equal by God, and that everyone should be treated as equals under the law? I feel that way too. Maybe you feel something should be done about it, maybe you hoping that some government agency, or some powerful politicians should step forward and put and end to this injustice, or that reponsible citizens should step forward and band together to take action to put a stop to this injustice, and demand such governmemt practices stop. Very understandable.

Maybe you think such things are a perversion of what governments are for. I think that is exactly right. Maybe you think it is a deep injustice, and an offense against basic humman decency and the natural law of God, for any government of men to support unfair practices that allow and enforce favoring one group of men over another, and whose laws allow one group to enjoy a highly privileged status at the expense of other people not deemed privileged. Maybe you think that having the government iteself back that privileged class by the force of their unjust and unfair laws against the unprivileged is an abomination and abuse of the rightful use of government and law.

I couldn't agree more.
