Unfortunately, the learning curve and attention span of the body politic could use some improvement. If yhey would pay heed to what happens in politics, we would not need recalls or term limits. We can change the entire population of the House every two years if we really want to. If that happened a few times the members would surely pay attention to what we want. Third parties have faired badly, because they split the votes of those closest to their political desires, and elect the direct opposite, especially in those states without runoff provisions. We have to hold their feet to the fire and educate the electorate in order to make progress. And don't get me started on the media! Stan
