Actually, David, the "Haunted Tank" looks a whole lot like Humphery Bogart's tank, "Lulu Bell" in a movie I know you remember - Sahara (1943).

According to Wikipedia, Bogart's tank was an M3-Lee - you can see the Wikipedia citation at the bottom of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M3_Lee . The M3 came in many variants, one of which I will bet the "Haunted Tank" was modeled after.

Go to http://it.truveo.com/Sahara-1-of-2-The-Tank/id/3905360748 and you will see "Lulu Bell", complete with pennant flying, minus the Confederate Flag - sorta like the "Haunted Tank."

You do have a way of dusting off and bringing to mind long forgotten memories, David.

Thanks.
