Bob and Cump,
Frank had talked about a meeting with you fellows in the same "zip code" just recently. I know there are a few of you Illinois and Ohio men here. Why don't you honor Frank and his memory and HAVE THAT MEETING. Cump, find out what the deal is with the cemetery where he will rest. Let's all do something, and I don't mean flowers. James, find out the details and see if WE can plant a tree, place a bench, or something that won't go away in a few days. A tribute to a good man, a good friend, a fellow historian. I'll send a good donation from Virginia to the memory of my "yankee" friend Frank. Find out Cump and let me know. E-mail me at
litnint@aol.com and I'll give you my phone number. This is something that breaks your heart. But can at the same time build a family. You fellows let me know what you think. What say you Jim, David, Bryan, George, TR, Pam, and Carolyn? On General George E.Pickett's Monument in Hollywood Cemetery to him and his command is a fitting tribute..."only the forgotten are dead". Let's keep Frank alive.
Keith
