First of all most people who have visited this board know darn good and well what I am talking about. You are correct welding jobs did not exist at the time. I welded for 30 years. You want an example, how about crawling on your belly about 30 ft. inside a 24 inch pressure vessel to make a weld? The good thing is the heat index is about 120 degrees and the vessel has to be preheated and maintained at 300. Try it sometime. Yeah I got paid, so did the slaves. The difference is my family waslooked after and I stood the chance of losingeverything if thebills where paid. BTW the way I lived a good portion of my life ona farm, picked cotton, cut okra, pulled corn the whole nine yards. I know both sides of the coin do you?
