Re: Words of wisdom from the past

George, I've done manual labor all my life. Since I was eighteen and now fifty six, I haven't been sitting in a office looking at some secretaries legs. Not that I wouldn't like too. So I know about injuries myself. Still nobody can sell me down the river...take my wife and kid away from me, whip me or imprison me without trial. So I'll take my existence as a white grunt in the twenty first century to that of a negro slave in the nineteenth century. Not to mention sick days, personal days and vacation time.

Oh yes I'm sure you and the other rebs will get a kick out of this ...my niece had a baby the other day and gave him the first name of Jackson, after Jackson Garrett my 2nd Great Grandfather...He was a private in the 11th GA Infantry CSA. Et tu, Brute. I mean she forgot all about the Unionist? :-)
