Well said and true. And most people are to busy condemming the horrors of slavery to actuly know anythning about the real life that others have lived. The proof is more than evident in this thread. You looked at those pictures, just like I did, how can anyone say that maybe their lives were not worse than any slave? It is there in pictures yet you are the only person who had a kind word for these folks. Bet some of those people would give up their shacks in a minute for a roof, meal, and a chance to pick cotton.
