The original Brady Bill required local authorities to pay for the background checks required when a firearm is purchased. A county sheriff, I belive in Montana, sucessfully sued to have the US Government pay for the checks, since it was requiring them. We need more of that, as the Feds are currently ignoring the 9th and 10th Amendments. Stan
