Re: Who fired their weapon?
In Response To: Who fired their weapon? ()

I'm reading a new book titled: The Rifle Musket in Civil War Combat, Reality & Myth by Earl J. Hess. I would look into getting a copy, it's an eye opener, and thought I have not been able to read all of it, It deals with the question of who fired what, when, how many rounds...it really opens up the impact of skirmishing, and how that affected campaigns like Sherman fighting to get to Atlanta.
