Joe maybe I didn't understand you meaning between the usage of the two different words "Centralizer" and "Centralist". I stand by my statement, but there would be a different in the meaning of these two words.

CENTRALIZER - Would be one who concentrates all power to one source, such as a Federal Goverment. E.I. Abraham Lincoln.

This being the word that you used in connection with Obama being in good Company with Lincoln I would fully agree IF this is the defination that you mean.

CENTRALIST - Is one whose method of governance is from a central position, or moderate viewpoint. Definantly Not the political position of either Lincoln or Obama.
