Chief, at least the "quote" - "you cannot multiply wealth by . . ." appears not to be a Lincoln quote per searching through http://www.gutenberg.org/files/14721/14721-h/14721-h.htm - "The Project Gutenberg eBook, Speeches and Letters of Abraham Lincoln, 1832-1865, by Abraham Lincoln, Edited by Merwin Roe" Likewise with "When half of the people get the idea. . . "

A little Googling pretty well declares these to be two of many Lincoln misquotes. I suspect some, if not all of the others may also be misquotes, but I did not check them. I think no man has ever been so misquoted as Lincoln. I fell into the Linocln misquote myself on this board about three years ago.
