What, Chief? Jarman enlisting, or Ohara getting him out, or Wayne's and Ohara's characters being married? The latter would be most rare, although the reverse happened at least once; a Northern bride was taken to her husband's rice pantation on coastal Georgia before the war. She wrote a book of her experiences. I believe the basis for getting Jarman released was a play on the substitute system during the war. Cash was mentioned, if I remember correctly. Stan
