David, to Doyle's compliments, I must add my own.

In the years since I first appeared on Jim's boards, I have witnessed your knowledge, your research talents and your interests expand from Simpson County, MS to Mississippi, to the Eastern Theatre - all with equal research thoroughness. In my opinion, not one other CW N & V's poster has demonstrated such an extraordinary expansion in Civil War contributions to the Board and breadth of access to contemporaneous research archival sources.

One question, with all the surrounding cities, how did your search for Mr. Dillon happen to take you from Washington D.C. to New York?
