LOL...Give me twenty, Colonel!!! I grew my mustache at my first duty station, Guantanamo's Leeward Point Air Station. It was a pitiful looking thing the first several months. I was tempted to pencil it in, but cooler thoughts prevailed. It did come in handy when we were lucky enough to have liberty between Castro/Batista activities around the base, but we won't go there. Once, they had a set-to pretty close to the main gate. We called the Marine Guards at the gate and listened to the festivities. One of our Gunners' Mates was apprehended trying to sell a 20mm cannon to the Rebeldes. He's probably out of Portsmouth by now, as that was about 50 years ago. Tempus Fugit! Stan
