Get this, in the Boise, Idaho Valley alone, in the months of July-August 1863,- 584,675 pounds of supplies arrived every thirteen days by wagon and or animal train to supply the miners. There was at least ten trains a day feeding into this area to supply a population of 25,000 to 30,000 miners. Thats just Southwestern Idaho!
