Chief, are there any contemporary comments about the content of Pickett's report, or speculation about who destroyed it? Was he overly critical of Lee? Also, I have heard that Lee was still in pain from his fall with Traveler, and that he had dysentary during the Battle of Gettysburg. Could this, if true, have affected his military judgement?
