They used to celeibrate John Brown Day in Kansas and had at one time had an organization called, I beleive, the John Brown Party? or Society? Something like that.Also there is a sports team called the "Jayhawkers". As far as Booth's act as Cowardess, One must remember also the purpose of Dahlgren's Raid. the Dahlgren Papers have been authinicated the way I understand it. I curouis though, Had there been other plots to assassinate Jefferson Davis? Would such an attempt upon his life been successful, been considered a cowardly act?
