The real problem with this whole issue is contained in the last sentence of that article. Until the states decide they are going to get off the federal dole, any resolutions that are passed will be toothless. Has it gotten bad enough yet that the citizens of the several states would be willing to either pay more in state taxes or do without those services that are subsidized by the feds? My answer is unequivocally yes, but I'm not sure that the majority of Tennesseans would vote with me.
