There are many truthful accurate facts pertaining to the Civil War that yankee sympathizers dont like. Actually some of them can't stand some of these facts. They will try to argue or divert away from the truth.

History is what it is. You cant change it and you cant try to make it politically correct.

Would like to start a list of such historical facts.

Lincolns own family owned slaves.

Lincoln married into a prominent slave owning family.

Union Generals Grant and Sherman were slaveowners.

After slavery was abolished in the Confederacy, 5 Union states still had slavery.

Many states that fought for the Union had slavery for 200 years or so from when they were European settlements and even kept slavery after they became states.

400-500 women were kidnapped by Shermans army from Roswell GA and sent North most of whom were never heard from again.

50,000 Southern civilians were murdered in the War.

Lincoln violated the US Constitution in many aspects.

The North started the war by resupplying Ft Sumter. Violating an armistice.
