Thanks for your input. I agree there are many things that individuls couldn't or wouldn't do, and it seems that perserving our Civil War battle fields is one of them, at that point the Feds is just about the only ones that can take on such a large project. I just don't want the Feds to turn the Civil War battle fields into some kind of theme park. Men fought and died on those battle fields.
