IMHO, Wilson's Creek and Pea Ridge are the two best preserved battlefield parks in the NPS system. Both have nearly all of the ground on which significant action took place and have minimal modern intrusions. Wilson's Creek plans to add 8,000 square feet of display space to their visitor's center so they can move the Sweeny Collection and house everything under one roof. Pea Ridge desparately needs an updated visitor's center though.
