GG Grandpa A. B. Hutto after being wounded and later exchanged from Gettysburg, Was again seriously wounded by artillery permanently losing the usage of his left arm at the Wilderness and being again captured and sent to the same Decamp Hospital, in New York, and was exchanged a second time, only to be wounded a third time around Richmond. He moved to Arkansas after the war because of reconstruction in South Carolina.

GG Grandpa Giles Taylor, of the 3rd Arkansas, disappeared during the Battle of Chickamauga and never returned home.

Of the three Laminack brothers at Gettysburg, only Joseph made it home. The other two brothers, Noah and James, died in 1864 of diseases. Joseph and his 4th brother William, my maternal GG grandfather, who was in Co "F", Jenkin's Palmetto S.C. Sharpshooter, returned home only to find that they and one sister were the only family, that I can confirm, that survived the war. They moved to Alabama.

John and James Bowlin survived the war and returned home to Georgia.
