"Personally anyone that wants to argue that the Civil War was over slavery anymore automatically loses any creditability that they may have had with me, I don't care what their position is. It does prove their ignorance to me as to their knowledge of history."

I know of some Confederate Soldiers who knew that Slavery was a key issue, and they were not shy about saying so...I'd be carefull about calling them ignorant!
