I can relate to every word you say.
My grandparents had running water, but caught rainwater until his death in 1953. There was not
such a thing as an automatic washing machine, or telephone, and my grandmother churned
her own butter.
The only time the road graders showed up in our part of the country was when it was an election
year. Then the county judge would send them down.
I also am curious about the two Terry men that are listed. I truly think they may be relatives
of mine. Also, that Henry Temple is an interest of mine.
