I don't believe so Stan. Though both Hatfields and McCoys were original pro-Confederate, they both also had Union relations. It was Asa Harmon McCoy who belonged to the 45 Kentucky Infantry Regiment USA..He was sent home because of a broken leg...there he was murdered by "The Logan Wildcats" a Confederate Home Guard type group..The Hatfields were supposed to be leaders of that group.
