Chief, you're right about the backlash, but just a little bit of humor may be in order. I'm old enough to remember the live TV production with Raymond Massey. During the train departure from Springfield, someone in the crowd of well wishers was seen to be wearing a shiny wristwatch. Then, to compound this telegenic error, someone else, among the yells of "Goodbye, Mr. Lincoln," was heard to, naturally in the clear, scream, :Goodbye, Mr. Massey!"
